| More Info: | An International Celebration March 6 - 13, 2010 There are 21 indoor and outdoor sports featured in the Games. Events include sports that enjoy worldwide popularity, as well as the Arctic Sports and Dene Games that reflect the unique cultures of the circumpolar North. Also included in the festivities are cultural galas featuring performances from each of the nine contingent's cultural representatives. Opening Celebration: Join over 2,000 international youth on 'A Hero's Journey'. Opening Ceremonies pay tribute to ancient circumpolar traditions while celebrating the modern multiculturalism of today's North - through music, dance, multi-media, and original character costumes. | |
