online dating behavior 300x225 Put Up Your Best Online Dating BehaviorOnline dating is not a new phenomenon. People have been creating their dating profiles on numerous dating websites to enjoy talking to singles who share the same interests as them. Most of them are successful in finding suitable partners, friends or even life companions. As for others, well, they are still looking. While spending time on an online platform, with strangers, we often forget our basic manners or behave in a way that is not part of our intrinsic nature. This is chiefly because we rest assured that the chances of meeting the person on reality are quite obscure. Sometimes, in an attempt to impress our online friends, we might also exaggerate certain attributes of our personality. As much as we would like to believe that the other person is smitten by us, sometimes, putting up a different personality may actually alert, irritate or embarrass your dating partner. The result of course is that you end up seeing or chatting with that person online less and less often. So, this brings us to an important clause – that of online dating behavior. Does that guarantee our success on the exciting virtual dating scene – Of course!

The first essential tip to good online dating behavior is to be honest. It is only when you are honest that you are in your true elements. Do not pit up a façade. Do not give your dating partner a wrong impression. It might lead to disappointment later. If you are really serious about finding a suitable partner on a dating site, the most important thing is to portray yourself in a way that makes it is easier for the right people to judge you and your nature.

Do not be too snooty. Having an ego is good but blowing it out of proportion at the wrong place can be disastrous at the personal level. Have a nice attitude. Do not be a show-off. Be tolerant and listen to what your dating partner has to say. After all, if you do not feel engaged or interested, there are many options for you!

Being rejected by someone on an online dating site is not the end of the world. It may mean that you need to change your approach. So put on a smile and put on your best online dating behavior. You will surely find a great person to hang out with, as a friend or for the long run!

online dating lies Most Common Online Dating Lies

online dating

Online dating sounds quite exciting. But more often than not singles tell a bunch of lies to attract other singles. If you too are dating someone online and pretty serious about the ‘relationship’ there are few things that you must cross-check before you move ahead with the plan. Else, you might just be in for a surprise!
Looks: as much as people might claim that ‘looks don’t matter’, truth is, everybody wants a very attractive dating partner. In the world of online dating, people often tend to post a fake profile picture to lure other singles. Also, both men and women put pictures of celebrities or super stars to hide their own identity. This is the most common online dating lie. They perhaps want to get things started first and then eventually reveal their true selves. That is why they lie blatantly about their looks, height, body statistics and other such details in order to create a really impressive and attractive picture of themselves in their dating partners mind. If you are dating someone online, make sure you know how that person exactly looks in real life in order to avoid disappointment when you actually meet them.
Marital status: dating sites are full of men and women who are actually married but are looking for a little casual, flirtatious relationship outside their marriage. This is why most dating men and women lie about their marital status. It is easy for singles to attract partners and this prompts many married men and women to lie about their marital status.
Location: if dating men and women are not serious about a relationship and are just looking for a casual fling, there are chances that they will lie about their exact location. If they are married, they obviously do not want strange ‘surprise’ visitors or ‘gifts’ arriving at their place. Lying about one’s location too is a very common dating lie that people resort to.
Profession/hobby: while meeting and interacting with people on dating sites, singles might find a lot in common with one another. Obviously, they do not want to let go of the chance to hit it off with the dating partner. So, sometimes, they lie about their hobbies or professions just to show how much they have in common with those they are interested in. Sometimes, they also lie in order to impress the other person. In any case, what they say is far from reality and when caught can actually jeopardize a perfectly beautiful relationship.

mr wrong Oh No! Its Mr. Wrong

Oh No! It’s Mr. Wrong

All the charming ladies and girls, who feel that your date is an immense bore and it is time that you make him see heels, this blog is dedicated to you. People say that it is very hard to get your type of guy as your date. Indeed what is worse than going on date with a guy, who has no charm of his own? We will definitely not like to tolerate such person even for a fraction of a second. However just a plain and straight statement like “I am not interested “may not drive away such types. Especially if you have got a nagging man as your date, getting rid of him will be troublesome. Guidelines regarding dating may be in plenty, but exactly how many of you know the right ways to drive away your date? So it is the right moment that you know the basic “scare your date” tips.

You may have met this guy at a party, and the whole looks may have enticed you. So it is nothing surprising that you increase the proximity between you and him and decide to go on a date. But oh no, when he opens his mouth, you discover that he is exactly the kind of person that you never want to go out with. In such a situation, you can consider these options:

  • Start talking about your ex and act in such a way as if you still yearn for him. Shed some tears if necessary to pretend a deep rooted love, which no other man will be able to blemish.  It is a serious turn off for most guys. Or better, start sobbing, “you are so different from my ex…he was so much better”.
  • Nag him to take you to shopping. If he does, spend the entire time with clothes and accessories, and ignore him to the utmost. And in case, he is still ready to be with you, hand over your long shopping bill to him.
  • Bring out your entire make up goodies and start applying them in front of him. Too much addiction to cosmetics is sometimes a big turn off for many guys.
  • One of the best ways to suggest disinterest without being rude is to flirt around in his presence. However much unattractive may be the guy in the next table, trying eyeing him blatantly. If your date understands it, show embarrassment but continue with the flirting. If he asks anything, just say “That guy is too good to resist!”
  • Ask him directly whether he is a bisexual. Questioning the masculinity of the guy is kind of insult in case, the guy is straight.
  • It is even better if you tell that you are actually a lesbian and you have come out with him to copy his ways so that you are able to woo your girlfriend. This is definitely sure to drive him away.
  • Get yourself drunk and behave in the most ridiculous ways possible so that he is embarrassed. In case you do not drink, put up a show. Come on, we are girls, buddies!
  • Churn out philosophical statements and maintain long silence, until he gets pissed off. Nothing can be more dangerous than a date who behaves like Aristotle or even pedantic.
  • Behave sarcastically. Insert puns and metaphors in your conversation to make him feel intellectually zero. No guy can tolerate being demeaned.

Isn’t this wonderful, even more fun than going on a date. But hey, remember to avoid these tips particularly, when you go out with your Mr. Right.
